1 - "Blueprint: God’s Plan for the Church"

2 Timothy 4:1-5, Ephesians 1:22-23, Romans 6:17, Romans 16:17 –This sermon introduces this series on the need to follow God’s blueprint for the church.

2 - "Christians Only"

Ephesians 4:3-6, John 17:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 - The goal to be simple, New Testament Christians and to strive to be like the New Testament church is something that will lead to Christian unity and pleases God.

3 - "Restoring the Heart of New Testament Christianity"

Just as it is important to restore the forms of NT Christianity, it is also important to restore the heart of NT Christianity. And at the heart of NT Christianity is discipleship.

4 - "The Place and Purpose of the Bible"

2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalms 119:72, 2 Timothy 2:15 - In this sermon, we explore questions like: how and when was the canon of the Bible put together, what is biblical authority, and how do we know that the Bible is the Word of God?

5 - "A Matter of Interpretation"

2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:16-17 - The Bible is the amazing word of God, but it is not always easy to understand or apply the Bible. God wants us to correctly handle His word, and so we must learn how to interpret it and apply it to our lives.

6 - "Obey the Gospel"

Romans 6:15-18 – One of the most important biblical questions that needs to be answered is: how does a person become a Christian? How is a person saved? How does a person obey the gospel?

7 - "Membership Matters"

Ephesians 4:11-16, Acts 2:42-47, Ephesians 2:19-22 - Along with the privileges of membership in the body of Christ are many responsibilities. In order to have a growing and strong church, we must have every member doing their part.

8 - "Equal Value, Different Roles"

God has created males and females with equal value but different roles. This sermon includes a biblical overview of the roles of men and women, and then explores two important New Testament passages.

9 - "Spiritual Leadership in the Church and in the Home"

God has created men and women with equal
status and value, but withdifferent roles.
God has given the primary role of spiritual leadership inthe church and in the home to men. God
has very high expectations forthe kind of leadership men employ in the home and in the church.

10 - "The Most Important Meal of the Week"

Many churches and denominations today are
observing the Lord's Supper less and less, but
this is not God's plan for the church. It appears
that the first Christians observed the
Lord's Supper weekly on the Lord's Day.
